Set in the foothills above Boulder, Colorado, this restoration and renovation of an iconic midcentury modern home by Tician Papachristou preserves the clarity and simplicity of the original design while thoughtfully adapting it for contemporary living. Perched among rock outcroppings, the house appears to float above the landscape, with expansive glazing framing panoramic views and strengthening the connection between the home and its natural setting.

The project restores the home's defining concrete, wood, and glass elements, embracing the richness and patina of natural materials while refining key details and spaces. Carefully integrated upgrades improve energy performance, fire resistance, and long-term durability, ensuring the home remains resilient and relevant for generations to come.
