Inspired by the broad, outstretched canopies of local trees, the design begins with the idea of a protective, horizon-spanning overstory. A large, sweeping roof becomes the project’s central gesture—offering shade, diffusing light, and shaping comfortable outdoor living zones.
Positioned on a steep slope overlooking the Front Range, the home is lifted lightly above the terrain, creating the impression of a structure that floats within the landscape. This elevated stance minimizes site disturbance while framing expansive, distant views from every major space.
