Piche Architecture is a modern architecture and interior design studio located in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 2024 by Mike Piche and Amanda Christianson, who first met in Michigan in 2002, they deliver a distinct modern perspective through custom residential works across Colorado and the West. Our practice dedicates our full attention to craft throughout the designand construction process to achieve conceptual clarity. Fundamental to our design approach is a balanced priority between modern architecture and interiors.  Our process includes the contributions of the entire design team – like-minded engineers, builders, designers, home owners and artists – to enrich the qualityof our spaces while delivering on our clients’ aspiration.  Our passion for intentionality in detailing and material selection delivers on functionality, clarity of concept and artistry. Our studio believes in strong relationships and open communication as the foundation to our work’s success.  Mike and Amanda’s partnership brings different perspectives to our approach in design and execution, offering adialogue that keeps our work on-point, opportunistic and grounded.   This approach combined with our dedication to detail and clear concepts from start to finish has positioned us as a driving force in modern design leadership.

Mike Piche has a profound dedication toarchitectural design and building meaningful client relationships.  For over twenty years, he has built a reputation as a leader in architectural design through built works across Aspen, Salida, Boulder and Denver.  His dedication to his process has brought him recognition as AIA Colorado’s Young Architect of the Year in 2013 and numerous project awards for the firms and teams he has led across his career.
