Piche Architecture is a modern architecture and interior design studio located in Boulder, Colorado. Founded in 2024 by Mike Piche and Amanda Christianson, who first met in Michigan in 2002, they deliver a distinct modern perspective through custom residential works across Colorado and the West. Our practice dedicates our full attention to craft throughout the design and construction process to achieve conceptual clarity. Fundamental to our design approach is a balanced priority between modern architecture and interiors. Our process includes the contributions of the entire design team – like-minded engineers, builders, designers, homeowners and artists – to enrich the quality of our spaces while delivering on our clients’ aspiration.  Our passion for intentionality in detailing and material selection delivers on functionality, clarity of concept and artistry. Our studio believes in strong relationships and open communication as the foundation to our work’s success.  Mike and Amanda’s partnership brings different perspectives to our approach in design and execution, offering a dialogue that keeps our work on-point, opportunistic and grounded. Mike Piche has a deep commitment to thoughtful architectural design and meaningful client relationships. For more than twenty years, he has designed custom homes, renovations, and modern residences throughout Colorado, with completed work in Boulder, Denver, Aspen, Salida, and mountain communities across the state. His dedication to design excellence has earned recognition as AIA Colorado’s Young Architect of the Year in 2013, along with numerous awards for the projects, firms, and collaborative teams he has led throughout his career.
