Mike and Amanda’s collaboration began over 24 years ago at the University of Michigan. That formative experience shaped not only our shared design language, but also a deep mutual respect for each other and of craft, process, and conceptual clarity.
Mike Piche, a Boulder, Colorado native, founded the firm in 2024 with a vision to create modern spaces that respond thoughtfully to their context. Mike leads the studio’s design direction and ensures each project carries forward a clear conceptual thread from start to finish.
Amanda joined the practice as a Partner in 2025, bringing her own strengths in client-focused project design and delivery, project management and strategy. Her experience complements our studio’s ethos and expands our studio’s potential for delivering exceptional designs.
Together, as partners in both life and work, we bring a shared design sensibility rooted in thoughtfulness, craftsmanship, and a belief in architecture’s ability to quietly elevate daily life. Our respective professional collaborations have been featured in over 70 local and international publications, including Architectural Record, Dwell, Luxe, Enki, The Local Project, Modern in Denver, Colorado Homes & Lefestyles and 5280 Magazine. Their work has also been included in the 2022 Monacelli book, Rocky Mountain Modern. Collectively, projects we have contributed to have earned numerous distinctions and awards from the AIA, NEWH, IIDA and ASID.

Amanda brings over 20 years of experience delivering contemporary architecture and interior design at award-winning firms to Piché Architecture. She has led departments and design teams in multiple luxury residential and hospitality projects. She leads with positivity and professionalism, and is a problem-solver with unparalleled accountability to the client and conceptual clarity.
