The project reclaims a fire scarred site with three simple volumes that reframe the landscape. Their placement follows surrounding ridgelines, stepping outward to capture layered views of mountains, plains, and horizon. Low and grounded at the edges, the form rises to a dramatic living space with a tall ceiling and open oculus that draws light into the heart of the home.
A restrained Scandinavian palette with natural wood, pale surfaces, and warm accents pairs with clean, modern lines. The volumes organize living, private, and service areas, linked by glazed passages that maintain constant connection to the recovering landscape, creating a quiet, resilient architecture of light, renewal, and long views.
