The homeowners, both art consultants, desired a home that embodied Modernist principles of minimalism and functionality. The exterior is clad in a simple, glossy metal that not only mirrors the surrounding landscape but also offers durability and fire resistance against the harsh mountain conditions. In contrast, the interior exudes warmth and approachability with a straightforward palette of white, concrete, and wood. The expansive operable glass and window system enhances the homes connection to the stunning Boulder mountain scenery.
