Sentinel Rock Photoshoot

We're excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the recent photography of Sentinel Rock, a midcentury modern restoration by Piché Architecture in the foothills above Boulder, Colorado. We recently joined architectural photographer Daniel Jenkins to document the completed home and look forward to sharing the final images soon.

Originally designed by renowned mid-century architect Tician Papachristou, Sentinel Rock is a remarkable example of Colorado modernist architecture. Nestled among dramatic granite outcroppings and mature ponderosa pines, the home reflects a deep connection to its landscape and an enduring architectural legacy.

Our renovation sought to preserve the clarity, proportion, and material character of the original design while thoughtfully adapting the home for contemporary living. Rather than replace what existed, the project focused on careful restoration, strategic interventions, and subtle modern updates that strengthen the home's relationship to its extraordinary site and ensure its longevity for generations to come.
