Design in Bloom '25

Ishi Garden is a sculptural installation created for Design in Bloom, an annual design event held in Cherry Creek, Denver, Colorado. Inspired by the quiet balance of Japanese gardens, the installation pairs cast concrete forms with vibrant red Japanese maple foliage to explore the relationship between permanence and seasonality, structure and nature. Rooted in principles of proportion, materiality, and craftsmanship, Ishi Garden invites reflection on the enduring dialogue between the built and natural environments.

Hosted at the Room & Board showroom in Cherry Creek, Design in Bloom brought together 16 local design firms to create custom floral installations celebrating creativity, design, and community. The annual event welcomed more than 750 guests and continues to grow as one of Denver's premier celebrations of interior design, architecture, floral art, and creative collaboration.
